Aspen is an absorbent hardwood that contains a very low amount of aromatic oils. When compared with pine or cedar, aspen contains the least amount of aromatic oils and is more absorbent with natural odor control. Aspen is considered the finest wood litter available and is intended for use with small, sick, or sensitive animals. Aspen is also the material of choice for use with reptiles and amphibians.

Aspen/Pine Blend shavings are a scientific blend intended to accent the distinctive qualities of each type of wood bedding. Cost-effective when compared to alternative products, it is very soft and absorbent with active odor control. Aspen/pine blend is superior to other blended products and is recommended for use with both large and small animals.

Pine is an inexpensive solution to your animal bedding and litter needs. It is a softwood that is effective at controlling pet odors, absorbing moisture, and suppressing bacterial growth. Because certain species of pine are more absorbent, softer and less toxic than others, only select species of Northern pine have been utilized because of their ability to yield a quality bedding.

Our animal bedding products are manufactured exclusively from raw timber and do not contain any by-products or recycled materials. Contaminates such as sanding abrasives, plastic polymers, or shop and process debris commonly found in most by-products and recycled materials are not found in our products.
We have carefully selected for the manufacture of our products only certain species of wood known to be highly absorbent and contain low levels of aromatic oils. We maintain complete control over every step of the manufacturing process in order to produce a clean and consistent quality line of products our customers can depend on. Year-round production assures that our products are available at all times in any quantity.
Our products are compressed and packaged in 100% recyclable, non-perforated, clear UV treated plastic. Heavy gauge plastics are utilized to limit package tears, punctures, and breakage. Many of our product packages feature reinforced handles for convenient customer transport and distribution of product.
Our bright, colorful and informative package labeling is appealing to customers and attractive on store shelves. Unique color-coding of our individual products serve as a simple identification tool for consumers and quick visual inventory management for dealers.
All of our products are bar-coded (three sides minimum) for clear identification by dealer inventory control and point-of-sale equipment. Our packaged products have been appropriately labeled for retail sale according to published state and federal packaging regulations.
